Held alongside the 2nd International Conference “Art Deco Architecture: A Mediterranean Perspective,” this two-day workshop invited architects, designers, artists, and history enthusiasts on a journey into the Art Deco era. Participants explored the style’s bold geometric lines, elegant streamlined forms, and varied use of materials — elements that reflected the optimism and progress of the period. The workshop combined hands-on training with a field tour to document Art Deco architecture in Alexandria, with participants’ work feeding into the conference’s accompanying photographic exhibition.
