ANPIEMED, in collaboration with Beit El Film Foundation and the “Cinema and Art for Development” initiative, hosted a free three-day masterclass on Independent Cinema and Cinematic Language (28–31 August 2024). Each session brought a different lens to the craft: director and editor Nuha Bezazo opened the series on August 29, followed by production designer Israa Al-Kasabany on August 30, and cinematographer Joseph Karam closing things out on August 31. Together, the sessions offered attendees a rare, hands-on look at how independent films are shaped — from direction and editing to design and the camera’s eye.
