project that was achieved in cooperation with the Italian institute in Cairo and Alexandria Governorate in 2008. The project documenting the building main data on a plate fixed on the building. 

PROF. EZIO GODOLI, PROFESSOR OF ARCHITECTURE-FLORENCE UNIVERSITY. HE GAVE A LECTURE IN FACULTY OF FINE ART FACULTY – ALEXANDRIA UNIVERSITY

They gave lecture in Bibliotheca Alexandrina about the History of El Mansheya Square from 1805-1950. It’s one of most important square in the city that documenting the renaissance of Alexandria and Egypt in modern time.

The seminar hosted Dr. Francesco Greco – ANPIEDMED president and Prof. Hussein Mahmoud Dean of linguistic faculty- Bader University and board trustee member of ANPIEDMED.

She gave lecture in Bibliotheca Alexandrina, about the Khedival Cairo project where she participated as expert of restoration and heritage preservation and member board of National Organization for Urban Harmony.

The seminar hosted Prof. Soheir Hawas, professor of architecture-Cairo University.

DR. SAID RAKA DIRECTOR OF ROSETTA NATIONAL MUSEUM GAVE A LECTURE ABOUT ROSETTA AS A HERITAGE CITY OR AN OPEN AIR MUSEUM; WHERE THE HERITAGE BUILDINGS CONTAIN A DISTINGUISHED ARCHITECTURE THAT CONTINUES THE CONCEPT OF ARABIAN HOUSE DESIGNS. IT’S KEPT ON PRIVACY AND GIVES A SUITABLE FREEDOM FOR WHO ARE LIVING IN THESE HOUSES. 

THE SEMINAR WAS PART OF ANPIEMED PROGRAM WITHIN THE INTERNATIONAL BIENNIAL BRAU4 IN ALEXANDRIA. DR. AYMEN ABED ELKADER (FOUNDER OF UNESCO CLUBS OF HERITAGE PRESERVATION – A CIVIC INITIATIVE IN CAIRO).

The lecture presented Alexandria as one of the largest cities in Egypt in terms of population and urban density. Since it was founded in the 300s BC, it has been one of the biggest metropolises in the ancient world, culturally, intellectually, politically and economically. 

The seminar was part of ANPIEMED program within the International Biennial BRAU4 in Alexandria. 

THE FORUM WAS A GOOD OCCASION TO ASSEMBLE SEVERAL PARTIES AS THE NATIONAL ORGANIZATION FOR URBAN HARMONY, FINE ART FACULTY– ARCHITECTURE DEPARTMENT, UNITED CO AND ALEX MED STUDY CENTER

THE SEMINAR HOSTED PROF.  IBRAHIM MAAROUF , PROFESSOR OF ARCHITECTURE AND URBAN DESIGN, ENGINEERING FACULTY- ARCHITECTURE DEPT.

The seminar hosted Dr. Haitham El Sharnouby, Assistant Professor of architecture Engineering and Environmental Design depart Technology & Maritime Academy.

Design Tour aims to link between local community members and professionals. DT’s main aim throughout the process is to focus on the principles of human-centered design and to foster designers’ active role in problem solving leading to growth in their living environment.
